Projects
Our semester will be marked by a short introductory exercise and then four main projects, each building towards the next. Some proficiency in Maya is expected for completion of this course. Further instruction in other software will supplement this. Assignment texts will each be posted in greater detail as we proceed through the semester. |
Project One: Due Wednesday, January 25
Reruns
Defining pod’s program and relation to body

Project Two: 3 Weeks
Bodypod
We begin with broad questions, posed in strictly formal terms.
What are the salient relations between architecture and the body today?
Can the two be joined? Separated? Physically and non-physically?
What roles can vision (and electronic visualization) play?
Where can we assert enclosure? Adaptability? Connectivity? Isolation?
Is connectivity/isolation the same as public/private?Click above on "Bodypod" for full project text as pdf.
